His name was Edwin Robert Pressey who at one time was living near the Crystal Palace before he retired and moved back down to Worthing. He was buried on the day of the Zebrugga disaster 6/3/1987. I never knew or met him although he was my mothers brother. It is his records I would like to have. Thanks. April

    3. April, Some staff records for Wandsworth Prison are held at London Metropolitan Archives, in ACC/3444/ST. Details of the holdings are here. http://bit.ly/1D9SacR There are no 'service records' as such, but he might be included in the Registers of Officers, up to 1957. If you can't get there, LMA offers a paid research service. http://bit.ly/1wyox2z HTH Judy London, UK -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of April via I am looking for help in getting records about my uncle who a First Officer in the Wandsworth prison during the 1930's and onward.
