Hello List, This is my first post to this list and I appreciate I may have the wrong area but won't know until I try. I am looking for the parents of one Charles Silvey who I believe was born in Wapping on 25th May 1823. His father is given in his marriage entry as Joseph Silvey a mariner. The only marriage I have been able to find for Joseph is to Elizabeth Drake but that was in 1837. Was he married before??
