Hello Marg, Thanks for the reply. Just a couple of queries, I have Elizabeth in 1851 census as being born St Georges Hanover Square, and if they were married in 1837 why was he not with her in 1841. I wish people would keep the same spelling of their names.it would make life a lot easier. Back to the drawing board with regard to Josephs parents whose father I have been led to believe is John (Silvey/Silvy/Silva) regards Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: "Margaret Cambridge" <[email protected]> To: "mike smith" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, December 06, 2015 3:49 PM Subject: Re: [LONDON] John Silvey > Hi Mike, > I found the marriage banns but that doesn't give anything more than what > you > have. > In 1841 Joseph is with a 25 year old Ann and he is said to be born in > foreign parts. Don't forget the census is just a snapshot of one night, so he could have been staying with friends, away on business. > > On 07 December 2015 at 12:22 mike smith via <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Hello Marg, > Thanks for the reply.
