I'm on this list for my Douglas side, but your surnames are familiar to me on my LeHew side.  Not sure if your side went to Virginia but there are some early marriages in Shenandoah or Frederick county of Silvey's with a b instead of a v also.    Just a tidbit for your research. The only marriage I have been able to find for Joseph is to Elizabeth Drake but that was in 1837. Was he married before??
