Gertrude May Rivers was born in Brixton, London between 1855 and 1860 according to the information on her Australian death certificate and the birth certificates of her 5 children. I can find no trace of her birth. Something that may assist - family oral history suggests she had a twin who died of smallpox and this was the reason she and her husband (Edward Barlow) migrated to Aust. in the 1880s. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is a very long standing brickwall, Peter
