I am aware of the following people called WINDLEY in the London area but have been unable to link them with my family tree, even though some of them lived in or near the same part of London as my ancestors 1. 1786 a James W marries Alice ACTON in Marylebone. 2. In 1841 a James W was living with his wife Ann and son James in Southwark 3. In 1861 a James W (probably the son in 2. above) was living with his wife Fanny in Newington. 4. In 1851 an Elizabeth W was living in Lambeth with a Caroline HUNTINGTON (I think) WINDLEY was quite an unusual name in this part of the world, so there would seem to be a good chance that they were related.
