Hi Nivard: Thanks for responding. Yes, Honour is the 80 year old. She was Honour STEPHENS birthdate, parents and place unknown. As for Jonah, I thought he was ours and have done for almost a year until a Rootschat lister searched Wootton, Oxfordshire PRs for me and he was indeed born in 1785 but to a John and of course, my Jacob and Honour were married in 1791and in London. So I have had to undo all my work on that Jonah. Jacob and Honour do have a Jonah baptised in St. Mary Lambeth in 1793, but I don't know anymore about him at this point.\ I do not have a fix on the address before the death of Honour - I need a check of London directories to see where Jacob was between 1794 and 1833. Son George was there in 1841, still trying to find a will for Jacob but not having much success. Would have thought George left one as well, he was apparently quite well off, but lacking there as well. I have scrutinized Ancestry.com - but, well, SMITH can be a bit daunting and I'm not finding a thing. Again, thanks for your help - perhaps a churchyard will hold some answers.
