I have not found a death or a marriage, BUT in 1891 Walter claims to be a Boot Laster. In 1901 he seems to be called William not Walter and still with Emily There is a similarly aged person in 1911 in London It might not be your man, but here are the details STANGROOM, Walter Boarder Widower M 50 1861 Boot Laster Bethnal Green LD VIEW Maybe there is no marriage to Cole because there was no death of Walter. Perhaps he eventually went back to Norfolk.
