I am hoping someone might help me find the death of my great uncle, William John ELLIOTT. He was born in Cuckfield, Sussex, 1879. The family moved to Ealing, Middlesex, shortly after his birth. Sometime in the early part of the 1900's, he was admitted to Hanwell Asylum. The only mention of this man was made by my aunt one day. She stated she was 5 or 8 years old when my grandmother went to visit William at the asylum. My aunt thinks this is when he died. My aunt was born in 1915 so this would make the date 1920 up to 1923. I have looked on the FreeBMD site but no one seems to fit. Either the ages are quite off or the districts don't agree. Does someone have any idea where I can go from here, please?
