Hi Listers, My thanks to Bev W and Antony Lambert for their responses. I will check out the Wolverhampton records when I have a bit more time. I have checked the death of Susan MASTERS and see there was such a child born 1880, living in Bermondsey in 1881, and no relation to me. Greenwich is the right area for my Susan but I am mystified as to why she should be registered at death as MASTERS since she was legitimately a DANIEL, my grandmother married my grandfather as a DANIEL, and her mother married James PRINGLE as a DANIEL! I'll do a bit more digging and see if I can rule this Susan MASTERS in or out. My thanks to you both, Lesley
