Hello Listers, Having recently helped a couple of Listers with their Brickwalls, I'm hoping that someone can help me with mine. Muriel Isabel GAINSBOROUGH was born 12 August, 1895 at 134, Court Hill Road, Lewisham, the fourth of six children of John Thomas GAINSBOROUGH and Florence Katherine nee LYCETT, who married in 1888 at Islington. Muriel, together with her parents and five siblings, appears on the 1911 Census living at 47, Thornford Road, Lewisham. I've searched the marriages and deaths indexes, using all sorts of combinations, but have been unable to find her since 1911. Will anyone on the list have better luck? Peter

Hi Peter, There are records of an M. GAINSBOROUGH on Ancestry in the British phone books in the London area including at least one I saw in Lewisham going up to 1984. FreeBMD only goes up to 1983. So could it be she never married and this is her?
