Can someone help me locate the burial of the above Jacob SMITH? He lived at 98 Mount Street, St. George Hanover Square after 1798 and before 1839. His wife, Honour (STEPHENS) SMITH is buried at All Souls Cemetery, Kensal Green, London - 11 September 1839. His son George SMITH is also buried at All Souls (1847). His other son, Jonah SMITH is buried at Norwood Cemetery, Lambeth (1866). Possible a daughter, Mary Elizabeth SMITH was buried at St. Dunstan Stepney 1800 (Ancestry.com). I have done a page by page search of All Souls on Ancestry.com (1833-1839) without success and have also looked for him on Findmypast.com and Ancestry.com anywhere in England. His son Jonah says he (Jonah) was born at Wootton, Oxfordshire (census records) but both he and his brother George were baptised at St. Mary Lambeth. Jacob and Honour were married in 1791 at Newington, St. Mary Southwark. Cannot locate him on the 1841 census. I have not been able to check London directories for him. Jonah was a hay and corn dealer; George was a dyer. -- Glenys www.quietacre.net
