Hi All Maybe while you are in the "Asylum Mood" someone could give me a suggestion about my Gt.Grandmother which has been a brickwall for many years. Eleanor/Ellen Smith was born 16/6/1854 Little Waltham Essex. She Married Charles Moore in Bethnal Green 24/9/1882 her children were. Harry Moore 6/5/1876 Frederick 30/11/1882 and Emily Jane 6/1/1885. In 1891 Charles Moore said he was a widower with the 3 kids in Islington London. I have purchased all the London DC's from 1885 to 1891 and none of them are her. My guess is that maybe she suffered from PostPartum depression and he put her in an Asylum. But which one would it be from Islington 1885-1891?? On Emily Janes BC it says Ellen Moore nee Smith late Lewis. so must have married a Lewis before Charles Moore. I would like to lay her to rest but I need to find her death, any help would be appreciated. Thanks Eve (Canada now)
