    3. Hi Folks Well, here are three of mine in the same family - any listers with time on their hands might care to choose one to look into please? I am trying to identify the fates of three of the eleven (at least) children of my gtX2 grandparents Joseph and Priscilla Jacobs who were born, married and died in Deptford, London/Kent. I have traced many of them but three have so far eluded me. I have a sub to Ancestry so I have searched all records there. 1) Caroline Margaret Jacobs was born to these parents in 1820 and was baptised at St.Paul Deptford that year. Subsequently I can find no further certain reference to her in BMD records or censuses* but in her father's will dated late 1849 he makes a bequest to "my eldest daughter Caroline Daly". I cannot find a marriage on Ancestry between a Caroline Jacobs and a male Daly nor a certain record of her demise in either name. (There is burial in this name in Greenwich in 1849 but the age is wrong and the death before the date of the aforementioned will). * There is a girl of the right age on the 1841 in Kent but is not living with parents so cannot be identified. 2) On the 1841 census for Deptford Joseph Jacobs is now widowed and has remarried to Elizabeth. Living with them is my gt.grandfather Charles (aged 12) and a James aged 13. I have no idea where James has suddenly appeared from since there is no trace of a baptism or death on Ancestry. He is not mentioned as a beneficiary in his father's will but a portrait of James is bequeathed to his sister Jessie, which may indicate that James is no longer alive in 1849. 3) The "Jessie" mentioned above. Again there is no record on Ancestry of her baptism, marriage or demise but she would have been born before 1832. No 1841 census record either. Any help very gratefully received but not much expected!! Thanks John
