Each of the former was christened at Saint Mary's Church, Whitechapel, per LMA records available to Ancestry. All six children were born in either Bow or Hackney within a space of five years and so I wonder why I cannot find the details for all six. I am pretty sure all the children were baptized at the same church even though the family moved north to Hackney after the birth of the fourth child. I am aware that the church was lost in the blitz but obviously some if not all the records were saved. If I make a personal visit to the LMA am I likely to find a record of the three 'lost' baptisms? At present I have George 1877, Helen 1879 and Henry Wilson 1880. I do not have Jane Annie, 1876, Marguerite May 1879 and my grandmother, Sarah Walker 1881. Thanks, Nick Richmond, B.C.
