I see Margaret and Caroline are in Sussex in the 1871 census but I can't at the moment find either of them in the 1861. There is a Caroline Drake born Oakhampton about 1806 living in Viacarge House Widecombe in the Moor in 1861 with husband Thomas M. an attorney. There are areas in London missing from the 1861 though, including Pimlico. There are a number of directories online at this site http://www.historicaldirectories.org/hd/ But no London ones for the 1860's that I can see. Sorry Anne
Hello Anne, Thank you for your email, I am looking for MARGARET BAZLEY not Mary. I checked historic directories but nothing there for London in the 1860's. Regards Caroline M . DRAKE, this is not my Caroline DRAKE but it is a conincidence that they were both born in Okehampton, Devon, in 1806. I researched Caroline M. DRAKE from baptism to death just to check the facts incase she turned out to be mine but she isn't. Thanks for your help, Lesley Abraham.
