Hello Listers I have just been given a letter dated 1939 and from this letter I have found two worthwhile bits of information. I would like help on where to go to expand on the information. Edward Russell KNAPP born 1872 Great Ilford was farewelled at the Royal Albert Docks in 1894 by his brother Frederick Alexander KNAPP born 1879 Great Ilford. The letter states that Frederick was serving his time at the P&O engineering shops at the time of the farewell.. I know where these brothers finally lived their lives out one in the Philippines and the other in Australia however I have never known until now anything about their departure.
