    3. Hi David In the 1841 census Thirza Palmer who died in 1843 is living in Red Lion Street, in the same household as Thomas Knight 25, with Ann Palmer 55, Thomas Palmer 20 and Harriet Palmer 20. So the death certificate sounds like the right one. I will send you more detail off list. Her brother came to London in the early 1840s and lived on Drury Lane. Another sister, Harriet, lived at 34 Hall Street (Goswell Road). I now have the death certificate for Thirza who died of scrofula. I was hoping that a member of the family might have been present at the death, and would therefore be mentioned on the DC. However the person present was Thomas Knight. I sent for the certificate on the grounds that: - *Thirza is a fairly unusual first name* - *The age is right (27)* - *The address is not too far away from her brother at Drury Lane and her sister at Hall Street.* Does anyone have any ideas how I might tie this down to be certain the she is the family member I seek? Is it likely that she would be in one of the London Directories? I wonder whether she might have been a dressmaker like her sister? Any help would be appreciated.
