George, London C is the City of London registration district. Details of it here. http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/london%20city.html Tower Hamlets is not far away from London City. The history of the registration district can be found here http://www.thbmd.co.uk/history.php on a site where you can also search and order Tower Hamlets BMD certificates. Solihull is in Warwickshire, near Birmingham - a good distance away. http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/solihull.html Both were targets during WW2. If you Google the names of the district and "Blitz' you should get information. What was the occupation of the father of the children you think were born in London and Solihull? Is it something that would have taken him around the ocuntry, so making it more likely they were born in different places?
