    1. [LON] Chambers Family in Wandsworth
    2. Good morning. I am new to this list and I am hoping someone here can help me out. For years I have been chipping away at our brick wall, brick by brick. I have been trying to find out what happened to the members of our Chambers family. Happily I can account for some of them. Others are more elusive. I am trying to confirm our connection to William George Chambers and his wife Florence Louisa (nee Cook). In 1911 the family was living at 15 Garton St. , Wandsworth along with their 8 month old son George. Their marriage certificate shows they were married March 17, 1910 at St Ann's Church, Wandsworth. They may have had another son between 1912 and 1915 but so far haven't been able to confirm it. According to information I have, William died in 1939. In FreeBMD there is a listing for a William G. Chambers who died at age 59 in Chelsea in the December quarter, 1939. The age is right as our William was born in 1880. William may have been a builder in the Wandsworth area specializing in masonry. Back ground info - William is the third child of seven of Alfred and Emma (nee See) Chambers. From 1875 to the early 1900's the family lived in Wandsworth area at various addresses. Does this family sound familiar to anyone? Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Cheers! Pat in Canada [Attachment: unnamed_file]
