Hi List It's time to blow of the dust and return to my genealogy again. I have not looked at any of it in about 9 yrs and have decided to start searching again. But I have no idea what websites are still good and what are not. I just started browsing the 1911. Can someone let me know what websites to search. I remember familysearch and freebmd. It's been along time Michelle Researching REDDING/WEBB/WRIGHT/JAMES in London area and TRUDE in Devon
Michelle, There are vast numbers of websites now, some of them free some for which you need subscriptions or pay per view. For London have a look at http://homepages.gold.ac.uk/genuki/LND/ For more general there are sites such as Ancestry, FindmyPast, UKBMD, BMDregisters, British-Genealogy.com, british Origins. Hope these will do for a start. Anne On 30 Mar 2011, at 14:19, michelle ramirez wrote: > Hi List > > It's time to blow of the dust and return to my genealogy again.
