This request is a bit off topic but I am hoping someone might be able to help me anyway. I have found the baptism of one of my London ancestors[married, had children and was convicted here]. She was baptised in Norfolk 1772 and her parents were Richard and Susanna GAGER. I would like to find out her Mother's maiden name but can't locate a marriage. I have found that her father Richard married in 1764 in Norfolk, his first wife was buried & son baptised in August 1765 in Norfolk. With Susanna he had a daughter baptised [Gage] in November 1768 and another two in 1772 and 1774[ under Gager] all in Norfolk. The father died in 1779 and the Mother in 1786, also in Norfolk. I have been looking for Richard & Susanna Gager's marriage between Aug 1765-Nov 1768 in Norfolk images[on family search] but with no luck yet. I have read that the Society of Genealogists hold various indexes for Norfolk marriages and am hoping if someone is visiting this location that they might be able to check this index[es] GAGER is an uncommon name. I don't think Richard was from Norfolk and his children don't appear to have stayed in Norfolk. Karen Australia
