Hi Marilyn As I posted earlier, in the UK the census was taken differently to the USA So it wasn't a matter of the enumerator taking the details from a neighbour as could happen in America Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) > Or ... who gave the information? Perhaps the family wasn't home at the time > and the neighbors "guessed" at the ages.
