Hi Ron I don't think the DOVE project ever envisaged making the date of birth searchable in the index It was mainly age at death pre 1866, mothers maiden name on births pre 1911 and both partners names in the marriages pre 1912 But it slipped quietly beneath the waves a few years back (2007 or 8?)
