Often ancestors seem to be written out of our family histories by means of destroying any photos of them. Though I have a large number of family photos I have never been able to find one of a particular forbear who was convicted of a number of crimes at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. I wonder if anyone has managed to obtain any criminal record or prison photos and if so can you advise on source. Regards Tony
