Hello Elissa I see from the census records that Amelia's husband Thomas was definitely born in the City of London so the two families may have lived close to each other. A very tenuous suggestion and you may have already checked this but if Mary was Amelia's sister there is a chance she married later and if so this might also be in the area and late enough for civil registration. That being said I can only find one possibility: Mary Ann Easterby marr Apr-Jun 1845 City of London vol 2 page 141 She is actually listed twice as Easterby and Easterly. However It would have been quite a late marriage for her (presumably in her 30s) so very likely has no connection at all.
