Hello Colleen ... I received your comment on the Lloyd family. I believe that the tree you refer me to was posted by Chris Kenney of Gananoque in 2002. It was that tree that first led me to extensive information about the Lloyd family, but the entry you refer to ... which is the critical first entry I found about the link between the Aylesworth and the Lloyd families ... is incorrect as follows: I know for certain that Simon Ferguson Lloyd married Sarah Ann Wellwood. He did not marry Sarah Aylsworth. Instead, Sarah Aylsworth was his daughter; see below. One of the children of Simon Ferguson Lloyd and Sarah Ann Wellwood was Sarah Charlotte Lloyd (also called "Lottie") Lottie eventually married William Perry Aylesworth, so her married name was Sarah Charlotte Aylesworth. Lottie and William Perry Aylesworth are my paternal grandparents, and I have copies of their marriage and death records. I also have death records for Simon Ferguson Lloyd and Sarah Ann Wellwood. I did advise Chris Kenney of these changes, but his older tree continues to be posted on RootsWeb, without the corrections. I know the names of 6 children but I have detail on only one of them, my grandmother, Sarah Charlotte Lloyd/Aylesworth. Her siblings, as detailed in my family tree, were: - William James Lloyd - Mary Lloyd - Agnes Lloyd - David Lloyd & - Elizabeth Lloyd I would greatly welcome further information on all of these siblings, their spouses and their descendants.
