Terry and all, I never ever believe anything is 'Too Far Fetched'. I get caught red faced when I do and it turns out to be true. Also, this is one way of bringing out other ideas. I have searched everywhere that I can think of on the internet and don't get even a bite on Pherryl or Pherrill LITTLETON. I believe he exhists because Pherel Fielding got his first name from somewhere. I have found that 'Fielding' was a rather common name at the time, but not 'Pherel'. I have found Pherrill as a surname. Nothing connecting to his time period. It is an odd surname. One is in the 1850 MS census. I also have the note that he was killed by a tree, but I believe I got that from you Terry. Keep up the good work. Everyone says the same thing, John was the son of Pherryl who was the son of John, BUT Brian and I can find NO written record of a Pherryl Littleton in any VA records. People say - OH yeah, there is a record of Pherryl in ....... Co records, but if so, we have yet to find them and would LOVE to see a copy of them. > > Brian proposed the following scenario: > > Hiatt's "Implied Marriages of Fairfax Co."
