I had posted a search before for a Kerr/ Littleton marriage.We have an Andrew Littleton Kerr b.1829(probably St.Louis) d.1891 in a railroad accident in Pittsburgh. Our thinking was that Littleton must be Andrew's mother's maiden name. We have since found that the parents of Andrew Littleton Kerr were Dr.James A. Kerr(of Va.) and Martha M.Bell of Kentucky. We are now left with the possibility that the Littleton middle name was either the maiden name of Dr.James Kerr's mother or Martha Bell's mother's maiden name.This couple had a younger son named James Kerr also. Dr. Kerr was killed in 1843 and Martha married Dr.Blue who was also the editor of the Brunswick,Mo. newspaper.He taught Andrew Littleton Kerr and James A.Kerr,his stepsons to be printers. Soooo do any of you have any record of a Littleton/ Bell marriage? Any help is appreciated.------Karen Kerr
