As one of those who dropped out of the LDR (Lower Delmarva) list in support of Terry, I totally agree with him re sharing genealogical information with anyone who requests it. That's what we're all here for, or at least we should be, and I'm glad to see that other members of the Littleton list are supporting our hard-working "Listdad." BTW, I was appalled to hear that some schmuck has ripped off Brian Berry's masterful JOHN LITTLETON OF ACCOMACK CO., VA: HIS FAMILY AND DESCENDANTS (1999) without so much as a brief acknowledgment. That sort of thing is a big no-no in the academic world, and damn well should be in the genealogical world, too. I would never deny anyone any information about my Littleton (or Hotchkiss, Hazen, Toffey, etc.) kinfolk, living or dead, nor would I put a price on such information. But if what I pass along ends up being published, either in print or on the web, I would certainly expect to be acknowledged as a matter of common courtesy. In any case, Terry, ol' buddy, keep on venting! The vast majority of your Littleton cousins/fellow researchers are firmly in your corner! Cheers (& Happy Holidays to all!), Scott C.
