Jackie, Do you know what county they were from? Right now I'm working on three counties in NC. Onslow, Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties. The Mecklenburg and Cararrus group is driving me nuts. The Onslow group we are getting a pretty good handle on. I can't find your James Monroe simply because most of my records aren't that recent. If you could give me some info on his parents and grandparents with names, dates and places, I probably can figure out (or come up with a good guess) as to where he fits in.
