I agree that "all" info should be shared. I agree with one other venting person - maybe take the person's name, etc. and let the original researcher decide if they want to contact this person. I have been sharing gedcom files for years and recently saw my whole database on the family ancestor internet site with someone else's name on it. I know it was mine because of little notes that I had written on the individual's record. At first I was angry and then I decided that this is the reason we share. I would like to have had my name on it somewhere as a contributor, but some people take and don't want to share (anything). AND sources?? I have made every caution to provide sources for every individual in my files (these were also on the website). I have received a lot of info from people, though and I always check it out myself before putting it in my database. I would save a lot of time and effort if people would include sources with their info. Just my 2 cents worth. Happy Holidays! Joyce
