Hello Littleton Researchers! I have been reading quietly for the last few weeks. I have a Miss. Littleton who m. William Sutton Byrd around 1818 from the dates of birth of their children. She is recorded variously as Mary Littleton, Elizabeth Littleton, and Julia Elizabeth Littleton. I do not know where they married. William Sutton Byrd was the son of George Byrd and was born in Sumter District, S.C. the Byrds moved through Ga. to Ala. to Miss. They were in Jackson Co., Miss. in 1813. So they may have married in Miss. William Sutton is in Perry Co. Miss. in 1830 and in Jackson Co. Miss. by 1840. Do any of you with southern Littleton lines know anything about this family?
