OK, I copied this outline from FTM and pasted it here. As we have been discussing the past week or so, it doesn't come out just right, but if you paste it into a word processor and just indent based on the generation number, it comes out fine. This tree was composed from a copy of the family genealogy tree that was sent to me by a fellow subscriber of ours that he got from the family historian at Frankley House in England. It supposedly was a copy of the family tree hanging on the wall there. As you'll notice, John Littleton MP and Humphrey were brothers and Sytephen was the son of another brother. This would make Humphrey and Stephen Uncle and nephew. Therefore Muriel would have been Humphrey's sister-in-law who's husband had just died in the tower of London. What I find interesting, is that their son Thomas who was Sheriff was mentioned as taking part in the roundup of the conspirators if I remember right. Humphrey wasn't married it appears so that might account for his being at his brothers house. I'm sure there are a few mistakes, but it does seem to put Humphrey and Stephen in their proper place, which DOES differ from the Gunpowder Plot stated lineage. Funny, I was just looking at their new URL this past week and was going to send them a copy of this too. If you find any discrepencies, please let me know.
