    2. I have had a couple people write asking about my tip on getting Death Certificates. Here is some more help. If you go to the web site for the county or state that you are looking in, there is usually a link to VITAL RECORDS. This usually will tell you what years the records are available for, when they started keeping them, when the state started requiring them be sent to the state, and where they can be found. This will save a lot of writting and calling. You might also look at the web site for your States Genealogical Society. That almost always has links to Vital Records. Have fun and good luck.
