I know Littletons Colorado was NOT names after a Littleton. It was named after a LITTLE with TOWN appended and later shortened. This would have been in the early 1700s. I am still reviewing my records but I believe they moved to eastern Tennessee a few years later. My line appears to be: William Littleton Sarah Cottingham (they came here from England and settled in NC) \|/ Thomas Littleton Mary Matlock \|/ Pleasant Littleton Catherine Anthony \|/ William Riley Littleton Rachel Francis Ann Cormany \|/ Joseph Thomas Littleton Sarah Katherine Stephenson \|/ Theodore Rocklin Littleton Beatrice Irene Bramlett \|/ Grover Theodore Littleton (that's me)
