Susannah married a Littleton on 22 Feb. 1849 in Union or Madison Co., Il. Her known children are Eleanor Littleton b. 1831 and Catherine Susannah Littleton b. 1834. Hope everyone is having a decent summer and doing OK fighting the heat. The unsubscribe and subscribe features of ROOTSWEB mailing lists is automated. I don't do it. I don't even see the transactions. BUT, if you change e-mail addresses, BEFORE you get rid if the old address, you MUST send an e-mail to LITTLETON-L-request@rootsweb.com (just like you did when you subscribed) with just the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the body. AND PLEASE turn off any signature files. THEN when you get the new e-mail address, do the same with just the word SUBSCRIBE. That puts you back in. If you don't do this, the old address causes errors that are sent to me and since you don't have the old address to send an e-mail from anymore, I have to manually unsubscribe it. AND I'M LAZY HA HA Also, there is a LITTLETON reunion being held in Florence AL on Sept 4 for any and all Littletons. Most of the attendees are from the Solomon, Charles, Thomas line that went from NC to AL and then later to TX. If anyone wants particulars, write me and I'll post them to the list. Keep digging - Terry

This reunion held every year the 4th of July weekend, started from Charles Littleton and Ethel Tackett and their descendants. It has grown to include any Littletons and any Tacketts who wish to come. The progression of Littletons goes: Charles Littleton's father was Fantley A. Littleton. Fantley's father was Albert Littleton, and Albert's father was Simon Peter. Simon's father was Joseph (all from the VA/KY area. The progession of Tacketts goes: Minnie Ethel Tackett's father was Tandy T. and Tandy's father was Abner Andy. Abner's father was William Jr. There are many names connected to these two: Caudill, Bryant, Ham/Hamm, Heflin, McRoberts, DeHart, Hall, Likes, Hammond, Helfenstine, etc. Anyone connected in any way to Littletons or Tacketts are welcome. July 3 and 4 and Eastfork State Park, Clermont County, Ohio. We do a little genealogy, we have an auction to support next year's reunion, and EAT AND TALK A LOT. Also, let the list know just which group of Littletons this is. Sorry, I should have done it myself, but had too many things going on. Terry Littleton (listdad)

My great grand mothers maiden name was Julia Littleton. The story is that her family came out of Louisianna during the Civil War. She married a Wiegant in MO, Her daughter Ruth Irene maried Jacob Anthony Lederle in the late 1910's. My father Richard was born in 1920. My brother Dennis in 1944 and myself in 1953. If anyone has info on this branch contact me. Supposely there were 9 children in grandmother Julia's family. Her oldest sister LuLu died around 1960 at around 100-105 years of age. She claimed to remember the Civil War and the hardships of the flight up. So any informatin would be helpful. Thank you. --part1_6db0447b.24780d53_boundary--
