It was of course my mistake in typing your email address as .com instead of .net that resulted in my email being returned. I appreciate the emails from two or three of the subscribers who gave details on Atha Ellender Littleton as I call her or Eleanor as most people seem to show her. My data on the Littletons and Roes and allied families is on the internet at http://www.my-ged.com/donohew/ I would welcome additions or corrections to the onformation found there. 3. I tried to submit my subscriber profile but the message to NEGATES@prodigy.com was returned "user unknown". I have been researching the descendants of Atha Ellender "Eleanor" Littleton for 20 years. Terry indicated that there were others in the group who were researching the Edward Roe/Atha Littleton line but I have seen nothing on the last 4 months of messages. I will be glad to share what I have with anyone in the group. I am also interested in the descendants of Atha's brother Hugh who married Nancy Roe. Until recently I believed that Edward Roe and Nancy were siblings but that has been challenged by another researcher whose research I respect. If anyone can help me in this I would be grateful. I have a lot of data on the descendants of John and Leanna's children who stayed in KY especially Atha , Hugh and John. I have been following the Pherill/Ferill discussion with interest. My information shows Pherill b. ca 1740 in England but I have no documentation of his relationship to John Littleton b. ca 1760, father of Atha and 11 other children. John Donohew.

    3. Hi all, I know there are a bunch of you descended from the LITTLETONs in Fulton and Adams Co, IL, but what about the ones in Christian Co and Union Co, IL? The Marriage index that Jim Clanin posted to the list is wonderful - but there are a LOT of LITTLETONs in other IL counties that I'd love to track down. Especially the ones in Christian Co. Can anyone help? Terry Littleton (listdad)

Sorry for the error - fingers aren't working too well today. Terry (listdad) Hi all, Anyone on here descended from this person? John Baird LITTLETON was b 1813 in MD or DE and died 23 Feb 1892 in IL? 3. Hi, I can help you with James W. Littleton, son of Joseph P. Littleton. He was my g-grandfather. Please e-mail me. Could you be descended from the Fields family in Wilkes Co., N. Carolina? They intermarried with the Coffeys and Comptons quite a bit. Just curious. Sandy Otos Randall Fields wrote: > Can anyone connect to this line? 1. Onslow Co, NC - LITTLETONs
    2. Littleton, Terry
    3. Hi all, A lady in Onslow Co, NC has been helping me tremendously piece together Tucker Reed LITTLETONs family in that county. We have a fairly good tree going but are stumped with the oldest person on it. Do any of you Onslow people recognize a Thomas Sparks Littleton born 1815 in NC? He was married to a Jemima Cragg 1 Jan 1839 in Onslow. I need to find his parents names. Also, one of the descendants on this tree was named Ernest Adolpus Littleton whose family headed to TX and Wyoming. Anyone on here in the Wyoming Littletons?? TIA Terry Littleton (listdad)

    3. Got this from another rootsweb mail list. "MAKING OF AMERICA, from Univ. of Michigan and Cornell, has current online holdings of: Pages: 634,068, Volumes: 4,058. They look to have 7500 more volumes added in the next two years. It is made possible by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. http://www.umdl.umich.edu/moa/index.html Cornell University has put the ENTIRE "War of the Rebellion" on the internet!!! Over 60 volumes!!! It includes scanned images of reports, correspondence, seizures of Southern property, etc. sent to the War Dept. during the Civil War. It includes both Union and Confederate accounts. It is in chronological order but there is no online index. Many libraries have the index. Find the volume and page number for your subject in the index at the library. Go to this website: http://moa.cit.cornell.edu/MOA/MOA-JOURNALS2/WARO.html I haven't had time to check out LITTLETON on either site. Good hunting. Jim Clanin
