Hi all, Has anyone ever come across any LITTLETONs that were in Vermont in the early 1800's? Looking for any info that might pertain to a Samuel Littleton that was supposedly in Vermont. Terry, Your last line in your post, reads Macklinburg, Co. NC. You did mean Mecklinburg County, NC which is Charlotte, NC., didn't you? If it was a typo excuse the correction. Union County, NC is right next to it. I can't get to the library right now, but I will check the NC census for both of those counties and see if I can find any Littletons. Helen

Morning all, I posted a query last week about Sumner Co, TN LITTLETONs and I got several great replies. BUT I noticed they came to me and not to the list. I think a lot of these replies would be appreciated by others on the list so I changed (I think) the reply feature on the newsgroup so ANY reply will automatically go to the list.
