Speaking of the CARTER list, the problems seem to have started with the message at the following link: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/CARTER/2012-06/1340807446 While I don't think that the message itself is where the major SPAM attack came from, the contents of the message are the issue I am asking about. I have seen this same message on at least one other List, and posters have said they've seen it on others, also, but it is advertising a DNA Project, as well as pricing and associated info. This is not my list, but in case it is posted to any of mine, I'd like the opinion of others about the matter. Should this be allowed on a list? Deloris Williams
