    3. Rootsweb doesn't close lists. They allow them to remain inactive in the event someone does come along and start a conversation. If you list doesn't have an open gateway go to the tools page and click on privacy options > accept list > bottom of the page select discard. This will dump the junk and put an end to the time you waste.
