Yeah...and the last time (and it's been YEARS ago) I can recall someone subscribing for a nefarious purpose it wasn't to harvest email addresses for spamming. There are FAR easier ways to get addresses for mass spammers than subbing to mailing lists. I DO remember a mass subscriber quite a few years ago with a "strange" address subbing to gather list messages to archive the lists off RootsWeb which would be against RootsWeb's AUP and a violation of the posters' copyright.
