Joan, I know we can't change that here, but is it something that should be changed? Why should admins get stuff that even RootsWeb doesn't want? It could also be a safety issue. What was the thinking behind the decision. Do you know? Subjects can be deceptive or non-existent and as has been discussed here repeatedly, you can't judge a sender by their email address. I use Mailwasher and can preview emails without the images, so it's not an issue for me. But it could be for other List Admins. I would say that Admin and Staff addresses are special in that we need to be able to get messages that are out of the ordinary. Both still are subject to some filtering. I know because of a recent situation with one of my subscribers. In other cases, there have been times when I have requested a subscriber to send me a screen image of what they were seeing. I forgot to tell them to send it to my regular address and it came to my admin address anyway. I was a bit surprised, but liked it that way as I tend to look at my admin mail with a little higher priority than regular mail. Thus, I saw the message a bit sooner than if it came bto my regular address.
