    2. Janet- My guess is they come through because the spam comes to you at an official (admin) RootsWeb address and you likely have the address on an approved list of some sort which lets it come through. I've had admin mail come to my spam folder at times (it varies) and admin mail can be deleted directly from the spam folder because it isn't LIST mail that would get reported to RootsWeb to get you unsubbed for reporting it for spam. I doubt there is enough of it to cause any blockages of RootsWeb either. Mind you I don't SEND this spam to my spam folder if it comes to my inbox...I just delete it. But if it is DIRECTED to spam I let it delete from there. Joan In a message dated 3/17/2012 1:12:34 P.M. I think the only solution that can work is for the admin to have an e-mail addy published on the general Information page, so that mail comes directly to the admin without Rootsweb being involved. That way we can mark the spam and porn as spam to our own e-mail service. Google is very good then to redirect it to the spam box after just a few messages. In this case, Rootsweb appears to hinder dealing with spam to admin. We need to get Rootsweb out of the way so we can deal with it.. Janet

    3. Right on, Joan. I have had it go to spam on its own and have rescued it so I wouldn't be reporting it as spam. Maybe I will ignore it from now on IF it ever goes to spam again in my lifetime.
