Diana, My solution seems to be working relatively well for the Digest Mode posters. Go to the Digest Options for your list and put the following in the Digest Header: ** NOTE ** When replying to a message in the digest please do two things: 1. Change the 'Subject' to that of the message you are replying to. 2. Delete all the messages above and below the one you are concerned with. Thank You - List Administrator This does not help the back and forth banter of some threads where the single message 'replies' get longer and longer. When this occurs, I have a longer email that I post to the list containing similar instructions such as above. So far I have only had to post it once this year. I'd be happy to send it to anyone interested in having it. Brad Miter Today's Topics: 1. I am sooooooooo tired of reminding people to trim their backquotes to the *one* message they are responding to and to change the Subject of their reply to the Subject of the message. This isn't happening every once in awhile, it's happening every few days. I've even moderated one person, refusing to let his messages through unless he fixes them - and he continues to forget. My list just isn't that busy. There's no need to subscribe in Digest mode, and even if my list were busy, there are better ways to deal with it than Digest mode. I truly wish Digest mode did not exist, and I would like to not allow people to subscribe in that mode. Diana
