I've hardly ever had any issues at all, and the only "Maintenance" I have to do is to review the lists and approve those appropriate for the list, and remove those that aren't. Bluehost.com had 2 weeks of fits with Spamcop. This started because one certain listadmin up in Maine placed my ISP' IP address directly in spamcop. The result was a nightmare.
