Is there a command for moderating messages on my list? I want to delete spam before it goes out to the group. Thanks

If you want to moderate an individual, you go to the membership list and check the mod box then save the change. If you want the moderate the whole list on a temporary basis (eg a a couple of days for a specific problem), you can use the emergency moderation option which is on the general options page and again save the change.
