    2. Yes. Either you or the poster can go the removal form here: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/remove and paste in the URL of the post in the archives and click to initiate the removal. An email is then sent to the POSTER who must respond to the confirmation notice to complete the removal. Since the poster owns their own posts they are the only ones who can complete the removal process for their posts (except in the case of abuse/spam where staff can complete the removal). Generally, the URL of the removal form isn't made public so as not to create a "run" on poster removals, but can be made known on a need to know (or request) basis.
