    3. Mo, As the originator of the initial post that started this whole convoluted and out of control string, I can only say AMEN and get my own check into the mail as well. :-) What I posted initially was a simple notice of a subscriber subscribing to DOZENS of lists all within a geographical area, and suggested my fellow admins may want to be aware of it due to the obvious (though unlikely) potential of spam going to the lists, and NOTHING MORE THAN THAT. However, beginning with the first or second reply to it, the entire string has gone so far out into left field that it bears no scrap of relevance to my original post, which is why I have stayed out of it and will continue to do so. My only hope now is that our "Fearless List Mom" will come along SOON and "put this pointless, directionless, and entirely meaningless string mercifully out of its misery." Now on a side note, this morning I heard from the very same person who is now a new subscriber to a gazillion Canadian lists. What does this mean? Among other things, it means that either she is a subscriber to this list (and by default a List Admin herself), or she reads the LO archives, or else someone else who does is sharing it with her. Whichever is the case, I really do not care one way or another, but I told her she is free to use any or all of the lists for any appropriate purpose she chooses to because she was somehow under the impression that she had been removed from the lists but I have no idea why because I had never written to her before. She remains on moderation until she posts a time or two, but I will never regret using the tools available to me for any real or perceived potential threat to the lists. 'Nuf said. And finally, to all of the LO subscribers who are 1. Writing directly to me about this, or 2. Putting a "cc" or "bcc" to me on your replies to the list, or 3. Including me in any way, shape or form. . . . . PLEASE STOP DOING SO, and leave me out of it. This string is out of control has been polluted beyond my original post almost from the beginning, and is not mine and never has been. Thank you. David E.
