You're very welcome, Carl. We pretty much all learn these things by experience. One other pointer, which doesn't so much relate to SPAM as to the use of Moderation on your list... If someone on the list says something outrageous, for example, insults another member, I recommend immediately putting the entire list on "emergency moderation" to prevent a response from hitting the list and others joining in. I've used this tactic a number of times, and I've been glad I did. And I learned to use it because I witnessed a number of cases where a list erupt into flames that could easily have been prevented if the listadmin had taken control of the situation sooner. You can keep letting "normal" messages get through, only blocking those throwing fuel on the fire.
